Beautiful and charming villa with private pool and a large garden with fruit trees like fig, orange, almond, pomegranate and pear. The traditional Algarve villa is one hundred years old. It is renovated and tastefully decorated. It is about 100 square meters and has 2 bedrooms, two living rooms, private pool and 8 000 m² of surrounding grounds. One bedroom with a double bed, the other one has two single beds that can be joined and serve as a double bed or separated for two singles. One open smaller living room which is a bit secluded with two small sofa beds suitable for children. Two extra beds are available. The large living room has a fireplace. The house has a small roof terrace and a special "lookout tower" over the beautiful lush countryside. Fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), washing machine, satellite TV, music player. Patio and garden furniture, sun loungers, barbecue. The villa also has a horse stable that is available for use.

About the area
The villa is beautifully situated on top of a hill in a small traditional village which is home to some foreigners, but the village still feels quite typical of Portugal. Small farms are the nearest neighbors and there are some animals around without disturbing the domestic peace. From the house there are miles wide view and one can even see the sea.One can easily speak English with the people. I can recommend to rent a bike as transportation. During July and August the temperature can rise up to 35 degrees Celsius, but since the villa is located on a hill the wind cools it down. In spring and autumn, this is fantastic! In March the entire landscape is in full bloom and it is warm enough to only wear a t-shirt. By the end of April the pool is warm enough to enjoy and stays warm until October. The major part of Algarve has a lot of tourism during the summer and especially August since it is the Portuguese’s own holiday month. The ocean is generally warmer here then on the west coast. The beaches are long and very beautiful. There are many things to see and many activities around. Algarve is famous for its many golf courses and lively night life.
