The apartment is centrally located and there are lovely restaurants and shops just outside.

About the area
Madeira, a beautiful island with a special atmosphere, wonderful colors, mountains and water. Comfortable year-round climate, fantastic green tropical landscape and friendly people. Fresh food, fish is the main food. A small island with big assets. Funchal is the capital and lies on the main island of Madeira, the island where tradition meets the present. The apartment is located in the center of Funchal, which is a very nice area surrounded by restaurants, shops, museums and walking distance to shops, services and cultural events.No need to have a car if you want to stay in the centre. If you want to make exursions by yourself it is a good idea to rent a car to go around.
Madeira is served by a modern road and bus network in which the FNC is a logical starting point for discovering the island's stunning landscapes and forests "Laurisilva" forest is a subtropical forest which is classified by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site.
All around the Madeira coast, there are very nice beaches and swimming pools. There are cable cars that provide a stunning view over the island and also leads to the highest point on the island. Weather: The climate of the island is considered by many to be one of the world's best, in the summer months the average temperature is 24 degrees from July to October, the highest is 33 degrees and in winter minimum temperature is 15 degrees.
